viewing hidden files...

    I am trying to work on a .htaccess file i downloaded but it wont show it on my mac... Is there a way to turn off hiding the files?

    yes use the attached applescript application. Or if you prefer the command line click here.

    or use File Buddy.

    There's also a way to view them through the Terminal, but I don't remember how.

    I forgot about that program. I've had it for ages, but I just didn't remember it. Great application.
