I've spent the majority of my day trying to view the notes from my iPhone backup that has the extension .sqlite, however when I open the file in text edit, I can see some readable text, but there is no order. Also, when I open it in an SQlite editor, I just get a bunch of tables that I don't know what to do with.

So could anyone help me out in the proper way to extract these lost notes from my backup file?

Edit: I figured it out and was able to convert the HTML as well. If anyone stumbles across this post on the web, as I have stumbled upon many abandoned threads while searching for a solution, I'd be glad to help them out. Send me a Private Message.

Hi

I would also really appreciate some more details on this matter ... upgraded to IOS 5 beta 3 and this is the ONLY issue which has caused me a problem... I have lost 3+ years worth of notes and need to get them back from an old backup! (

If you can provide any guidance that would be greatly appreciated!

Many thanks :)

Hey I'd also like to know the answer to this question. But having since just registered today I can't private message you, yet. Or is that even enabled on this forum? Either way I didn't see an option to private message.
