Hi all. I'm trying to view a video at http://www.fishfever.com/node/191.

They just updated their site and I there used to be a popup that said something like "Your browser is not able to display this multimedia content. Would you like windows media player to try to play this content?" and it would work fine if I clicked yes. Now it just says download the latest version of Windows Media Player, but I already have version 9 for mac. How can I view this streaming video? I tried saving and a bunch of stuff, but It doesn't work.

Sorry if this is confusing.

Thanks

Yeah I tried. But what do I do after Pacifist pops up?

Seems you have set Pacifist to open .pkg and .mpkg files. This probably isn't what you want, so you will want to right click the .pkg file and select Open With - select Installer. If it doesn't show up, you can browse to it in Applications > Utilities.

There is no "Installer" in my utilities folder.

There is a folder in my Applications folder that says flip4mac and it has two files. One says "Flip4Mac WMV uninstaller.pkg" and the other "WMV PLAYER". I think I did it correctly, but how do I use it to play those videos?

Thanks for help.

You don't need to use it in anyway, it should play through the browser - and if it doesn't you will have to find out what encoding the video files are in.

I know the videos are in WMV, and if I "View Source" I can save the videos, but I want them to stream.
