Is there a way on iPhone to view pace info for walk/run? It would be nice to view history of all workouts.

No, Apple doesn't do mapping or splits/pace info. Also because the :apple:Watch dons't use GPS (it only uses GPS to calibrate the accelerometer) the Pace is not always accurate. The best way is to run an App like Nike+ or Runkeeper on your iPhone at the same time.

Hoping Apple does some work on it activity app as it should be able to map a run and give the pace if it is connected to an iPhone. Apple has a way to go here!

Workout history is kept in the Activity app.
