Vigilink?

Hi all,

anyone can tell me why everytime I click on a link on this site and it's forum, first it is redirected to some vigilink.com/somerandomlettershere and after that the requested link/page open?

After a quick search on the net, it appear vigilink has something to do with ad tracking...

I'm no expert on these things, but have you tried clearing your cache and cookies?
Sounds like you have some adware associated with your browser

happens on multiple machine/browser.

example, go there: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1410420/

and on this page, click on "article link", and check the adress bar of the opening page, for a split second it's going to be api.vigilink.com/ect...

it's an auto-link-affiliatizing service for MacRumors. so, for example, if you click to amazon, amazon knows you came from MacRumors, so we get a small cut.
