For some reason Vimeo is not working on my ATV 3. Perhaps I am doing something wrong, or I need to log in. I just wanted to browser other peoples videos. Well if they made it not compatible with the ATV 3 I will just use YouTube which for the moment works fine on the ATV 3.

I deal with Vimeo A LOT and I can assure you that they are HUGE Apple and Apple TV fans. They've been behind ATV since ATV2 days way back in 2010. No need to worry! Try it again or maybe open an account! I have 700+ surfing videos on mine 
Outside of iTunes, definitely my favourite platform!
They are now allowing users to upload and stream 8K video along with HDR options!

I have the basic account since its free. So looking at their website they are definitely still supporting the ATV 3 which is good because its what I have. Vimeo seems easier to use and less cluttered than YouTube.
