"vintage look" on Pixelmator

    Hi everyone I hope some of you know your way around Pixelmator - not that hard i guess if you know photoshop- , I'd like to know how to achieve that "vintage" look like on these pictures, i know it sounds a bit general but if you can just tell me a few things about it that'd be great.

    Work with the curves, saturation levels and color balance.

    or, just take it with a Polaroid!

    On the top of what has already been mentioned, you might want to duplicate layer and change the blending mode to overlay (or other modes, just try!) and reducing the opacity. It can quickly give a cross-processing-like effect.
