Does anyone know what model the typewriter is in the attached images? It is from the netflix series "house of cards".

It's obviously an Underwood Universal but can anyone help with the exact model from the pictures? Thanks!

tips: he says its a "portable" and he says it's 70 years old.

Looks to me like a 1930s Underwood Universal: http://mrtypewriter.tripod.com/1930underwooduniversal.htm

With these old typewriters they don't have a specific model number, just the model name and a time period they were made in. Though you can look up serial numbers to find the exact year it was manufactured.

I have a 1933 Underwood Portable, same model Jack Kerouac used to write On The Road! It is just a stunning typewriter.
