Virgin media v Apple tv+

We have two
smart tvs each attached to a virgin tivo box we record rewind and pause regularly with free UK calls and some international. Contract is up in August Because of increased cost we are considering moving to Vodaphone with Apple tv+. Would this give us the same facilities we are pensioners and try to keep up with new technology but sometimes it's difficult. Any help in plain language would be appreciated.

I am the same position at the moment; ie thinking of moving from Virgin media TV to Apple TV 4K. Did you get any useful replies and did you go ahead and do the switch?
