This is probably a silly question.

I installed Virtual box with Lion and the guest is running Windows 7 x64. However, I cannot get my WD external hard drive to be recognized. It is formatted correctly.

Any thoughts. In the past, I have used Fusion and it would recognize it as soon as the VM booted.

Thanks.

NTFS

Lion will see it fine. I basically use for a data drive only. For example, backup for a quicken file. Quicken is the ONLY reason I need to run a VM since the MAC version is severely lacking.

Tried a different format, but no luck. I guess I'll download the latest version of Fusion.
