Being new to this forum please forgive me if this is the incorrect place to post.

I have been searching for a while for a programme that will create virtual drives on my ibook from a folder. There are numerous programmes such as 'alcohol' for the PC, but I seem not to find any for the Mac.

Can anyone advise?
Thanks.

The capability is built-in on the Mac. Use Disk Utility, which is in your Applications/Utilities folder. The standard disk image format on the Mac is .dmg, but Disk Utility will also create ISO and a couple other formats IIRC.
