Virtual keyboard when bluetooth keyboard is connected

If I remember correctly, when my external keyboard was connected I could still get the virtual keyboard thanks to a little button on the screen. With iOS 26, that button seems to have disappeared. Has it?

I don't use iOS 26, but try to press on the textbox you want to type on few times. It could work

That works sometimes, as before, but not always. There's no pattern I can see.
