I start up VM and go to create new.

It doesn't seem to recognise my Win95 cd. Says it can't find an operating system.

Any suggestions?

To the best of my knowledge, unless you are using an Win95 OEM 2.0 or 2.5 discs, you cannot boot from the CD. I suggest using Win98SE. OEMs aren't to be used on a computer other that which it was supplied, but you can use the discs to install for another key.

Is this for VPC. Because VPC comes with a boot disk image that will assist you in installing an OS that has no bootable CD. Otherwise, you're SOL.
