Same here with Tiny core Linux. I remember having luck with DamnSmallLinux V.0.4.10.
Btw , OpenBSD 6.6 (lastest) runs in VirtualPC 6 on MacOS 9.2.2.
From there, you can SSH to modern MacOSes cause the cyphers are up to date.
So it makes a "heavy" ssh client, but its something You can't do with MacSSH on OS9.
As far as X11 , could only try the default FWVM so far, and it's quite slow even on a PB 17" 1Ghz.
And now after reinstalling (goofed a conf. during previous install), X11 isn’t working anymore :/
