If you have a PC, you can run RDC on your Mac to connect to it. Then you can run the programs you need without the performance/memory issues you are having.
I don't think e was being exceptionally rude (at least, not for him 😉). It was a fairly obvious thing, and the
... you act as if I should have known all of this. Sorry, but if I was designing a program to emulate a PC on a MAC I think I might have given it a bit more oomph. Especially considering that it came with Windows XP Professional.

well just stating the facts of what i experience
I'm running win 98 on VPC
On a G4 800 mhz, VPC 7 its runs physically slightly faster than VPC 5 on G3 400 mhz (booted on OS 9.2). For some bizarre reason i can use a PC specific USB device on the G3 only when on OS 9 (not classic, or OS X of any kind) so i feel that there are major problems with VPC in general and it is a almost useless program
