Thank you, but I don’t see 5.0.3, as I thought Connectix made an update of 5.0.3 - anyway, my next question - if Windows 2000, XP, mdybe Win 9/x can run the internet and render sites very well for usability, surely there has to be a way to get OS 9 to browse non-YouTube internet like it was in 2000. YouTube wasn’t around when OS 9 cane out, and just trying to see if anyone thinks this is possible !
I guess I want to relive the OS 9 experience as it was in 2000-2001 in terms of internet. I am sure accessing gmail through outlook 5.2 will work, but certainly I would like to get normal functionality for basic web browsing under OS 9. I keep getting security warnings after security warnings even for the basic of basic websites like Wikipedia for instance.
I don’t know how to code, but I am keeping faith that we will be able to make OS 9 functional again. I feel Apple should not have stopped development of OS 9.. who knows what it could have been like ? Can IE5.1.7 or 5.2.3, Netscape be disassembled to insert the right rendering CS’s to render most things on the web ?
I realize Sherlock 2 is gone as apple shut those servers down years ago, but the one thing we can try to do is get OS 9 internet functional. I think it can be done. Who is with me on this ? 9.2.3 to restore internet rendering ?
