Virtual screen for VNC?

I'm using VNC to control my Mac in the living room from my Thinkpad laptop. The Mac is attached to a TV for watching movies and to the Hifi for listening to music. It would be great if I could set up a "virtual" screen device in OS X so that I see that screen when I connect to VNC, but when I play videos or turn on the iTunes visualizer it plays on the main screen, i.e. TV.

Is this possible? All I need to do is fake OS X into thinking there's a screen attached, I think.

If I understand what you are wanting you can use fast user switching with OSXVNC to setup a seperate account for this purpose. Details are available on the website here http://www.redstonesoftware.com/products/vine/multidesktop.html
