I am running the latest version of Mountain Lion on a Macbook Pro and recently switched to VirtualBox instead of VMWare Fusion for creating a Virtual Machine. I like VirtualBox, especially the free part, but I cannot get it to recognize my USB flash drive. I am running the latest version of VirtualBox, and the latest version of Guest Additions. I have followed all the directions in the User Manual (which I find difficult to follow, as it leaves too many steps out), and still it will not work.

Has anybody else had this problem since Mountain Lion came out, and found a solution?

i used to have the same issue but i install the "Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack-4.2.0-80737" from here virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads that extension solved the problem.
