and just recently i went to this one website, i dont remember
which one, but this warning for a virus popped up and
i remember it telling me that i should download Norton Anti Virus

This is simply an advertisement for Windows users. It did not scan your computer. You don't have a virus. It's little better than a scam. Ignore it.

:p It's just a random pop up, you don't have a virus, I had one the other week that popped up saying your windows system registry files are corrupted, run this scan to correct them

Sarcasmville.
I remember a funny flash ad that went around a while back. It would auto-fullscreen and give you a very convincing BSOD.

Except I was on my mac. I think I rofl'd.

Someone else saw that same warning once, I have yet to see it, but I kinda figure Macs are virtually virus proof (if you're careful) :D
