It's not a virus, but a Trojan that only runs on jailbroken devices. It is not the first instance of malware that affects jailbroken iPhones and iPads. There is no malware in the wild that runs on unjailbroken iOS.

I would be imposable to get on iOS 8 because you can't jailbreak iOS 8.
