i need some help on this. I encountered this this morning and didn't know what it meant

Standard browser scam in Safari
Your mac is Just fine.
Force quit Safari. Hold down the Shift key and relaunch it.

And you may want to run AdWareMedic

I should have said:
"Standard browser scam"
- not to blame Safari - just a standard scareware type scam.
