Hi all,

I need a virusscanner that will scan my windows bootcamp disk - from the MacOS.

Does anyone know of a tool that can do that? I am not looking for AntiVirus for Mac alone, as it is PC (Windows) viruses I am gonna scan for.

Thanks!

There are zero Mac viruses thus there is no reason to look for those. AFAIK all virus scanners, even for OS X check for Windows viruses as their main use is to check emails etc to avoid distributing viruses (your Mac won't get affected but it may still send a malware).

ClamXav is one that seems to be fairly popular and it's free

Just install a virus scanner onto your Windows partition and use it to scan for viruses whenever you're in Windows.

I would recommend Microsoft Security Essentials as it's free, lightweight, fast and quiet.

If you want something that has more than the standalone virus scanner, I would suggest NOD32 from ESET. Although they charge for the product, it's probably the best antivirus you can get for Windows.
