Hello
I would really need some help on this issue. Today I got a message from the Eset Cybersecurity that my computer contains the html scrinject.b.gen virus. I put in quarantine, deleted the file through eset and scanning my mac in the moment. I would like to ask you if I should delete the file from the quarantine or what should I do with it??? This is my first experience with something like this on a mac.
Thanks for your response in advance.

It's Windows malware.

Mac Virus/Malware Info by GGJstudios
There are currently no viruses for Mac OS X in public circulation, only a handful of trojans and other malware, which have to be installed manually via entering the administrator password.
The only anti-virus you need to protect your Mac is education and common sense.

And one thread per issue is enough.

Yes, I'm reading it ... Thanks for your help and I apologize for making such panic from this. I just hate these things and care about my mac 🙂 Thanks for everything again 🙂

Bringing topic back alive just received the same virus alert. Attached a picture.

Running on Windows at the moment.

As already stated, it can't affect Mac OS X.

I know, read the thread wrong at first. But as I said I'm on Windows at the moment... plus these are being distributed via ad's on MacRumors (adbrites problem not MR though).
Not good for reputation.
