I have been working on a mac all my life (I am 15). I went to ebaumsworld.com to look at some jokes, when looking a pop up comes up saying I have a virus and I am redirected to a page everytime I go there. Whats up? I know macs can't get viruses but they can get a trojan. What exactly is a trojan? I am wondering if this has happened to anyone just a random pop up blocker but then it sends you to a different page?

The page that showed the virus being there looked like Windows XP too I bet?

A trojan is something you don't want to ever get, especially on a PC.

Trust me. I had to deal with a nasty one a couple of months back.

If you've ever heard of the story about the fall of Troy, that's where the term comes from.
