Sitting in the Apple store now. They looked shocked when they saw it and says it looks like a "defective cheap third party screen replacement". They will be replacing the whole phone again once they solve a problem I'm having with iCloud backup where it won't let me backup because it refuses to let me delete the backup from my previous iPhone. I'll be here for a while because they're on the phone with tech support.

Glad you resolved the problem but that iPhone they gave you ain't brand new it's a refurb unit (used phone with a new case and battery)
You are lucky ! You got a second out of warranty replacement for free. Sometimes Apple costumer service is awesome.

Every replacement unit comes with a 90 day warranty, regardless of whether or not the original was out of warranty or not when it was replaced. And yes, they can be quite awesome, especially with some politeness!
