Vista Basic Upgrade $$$?

I'm not installing that garbage on my vista-capable compaq PC. I dont care how many "breakthroughs in technology" its accomplished, so im gonna stick to windows xp. Windows XP is 2nd best OS, below OSX.

Do you think it would trade for a full version of Windows XP media center or home, or at least $50?

What OS is it running now?

TBH a PC with Vista and 2GB RAM is perfectly good, it may not be significantly better than XP but it's certainly not slower than XP with 1GB. I know this from using Vista and XP on about 3Ghz Pentium 4's.

doesent matter, im keeping the standard xp home on the pc and maybe putting windows on my mac.

Hoping for at least 40/50 though..
