vista on a mac

Hi there!

I bought a wicked macbook pro. it has vista installed on it. no partition, just vista. so been tryin to format the whole thing and install osx, to no avail. it doesnt boot off the osx install cd.. any ideas... tanx

You're holding down 'C' or Option to boot off of the OS X DVD, right?
