visual indicators?

With the recent "found" iPhone I was wondering if the possibility for a visual indicator (missed calls,text,email) is still a possibility?I was thinking that maybe the flash could be also an indicator..thoughts?

Pausibly, but then you would always have to lay your phone screen side down to see it.
