    Hi,

I tried to load .srt subtitles on VLC player and received the following error message:

"freetype: failed to load font file /System/Library/Fonts/LucidaGrande.dfont"

I am sure this is as simple as it can be, but I have no clue how to solve the problem.
    Please help.

Does the same happen in Movist?
Can you open the .srt file in Text Edit and see, if it is okay?

Yes, I can open the file in Text Edit.
I do not have Movist. Would you recommend downloading it?

I use Movist over VLC, it is better in my experience (more responsive), though currently it uses 100% CPU with a simple SD video.
