Hey guys, I need some help with this issue.

I just downloaded VLC Media Player because I have some files that won't play on Quicktime. The media player works great on my laptop with one exception, it won't play audio on the television. Audio works great on the laptop, and I have been successful with iTunes audio on the tv, so it is not a problem with my connection. I am not sure how to go about fixing this issue, and hope someone on here is familiar with my problem enough to provide me with a solution.

Thank you for any helpful responses!

Sometimes that happens to me (2010 13" MBP)

All I do is fully close VLC, and then re-open it and that fixes the problem.

Does that work?

YEP!!! Thank you so very much. Just got back from work and tried out your suggestion, and it works perfectly. I love my brand new Mac more and more each day, lol
