vlc on iphone...

    it's supposedly coming (it's already an official app for the ipad).

    anyone know about openstreamer? cydia app (formerly vlc4iphone).
    gonna DL and try it out now, just wondered if anyone has any experience with it...

    watched a robot chicken :D on my iphone.
    a little jumpy...
    still, nice to see this working (as opposed to having to convert files for itunes)...

    am looking forward to the official VLC...

    VLC is such a lousy player IMHO.

    It crashes all the time on my macs in use and footage looks grainier and worse than it should.

    Someone tipped me off on Movist on this site (thanks), never looked back.

    vlc works well on my mac.
    but, just looking for an avi player for my phone...

    yeah I definitely have never had bad things with VLC. dno whats happening with you.

    one month after my initial post, and vlc is here for the iphone (itunes store).
    am downloading now...

    yay! no more converting avis for the iphone!


    edit: so far, so good. watching 'crank high voltage'', plays smoothly, good picture, sound...am happy (for the moment, anyway)...

    You do realize there have been players that do this for a while. XYFlash, Oplayer, CineXplayer .....
