VLC Player playing only audio

This might not be helpful...
From past experience, i find if your software is "hacked" then certain programs might not work properly.
Also, i had VLC on Panther, and it worked fine, but when I upgraded to Tiger, it stopped working, so it could be a bug with VLC on newer OS's.
Also what are the Specs of your Machine? might not be strong enough.
