On my fiancé's macbook pro, her VLC player is missing the progress slider that normally appears at the top of the screen. Also the round 'play' button and the round 'forward skip' and 'back skip' buttons are missing.
Her screen looks like this at the top:
We would like to know how to get these back. She just upgraded to 1.1.12 because of this problem but it didn't fix it.
She is using OS X v10.7.2
