Sometimes when I open a movie, I cannot see the position of where the movie is, the entire bar is white. I have to essentially resize the screen to a larger size in order to display the bar.

If I open another movie within the same session (e.g. not shutting VLC down) it will continue to do this, so the movie I am playing does not matter. If I close the session and reopen VLC, I am able to sometimes see the progress bar. It's a weird problem but it's almost tempting me to go back to Quicktime.

Anyone else have this problem?

yup I have this problem on my 2.2ghz MBP - but alas I have no solution. Im blaming it on some video driver incompatibility.....or somthing 😕

Anyone else have this problem? I'm honestly getting sick of VLC and might have to discontinue using it
