I'm wondering for those who use VM Fusion how much time you spend in Windows?

For the next few months I'm working on Projects that will require me to use Windows and I won't be over the OS X world much ... in that case I'm wondering if I should of went the Bootcamp route instead?

Or, are there people using VM Fusion and spending 80% or more of their time in Windows?

My concern is if I'll burn up battery time faster running two OS's at once as opposed to running Windows only via Bootcamp. And, would I save a lot of system resources with Bootcamp running only one OS at a time ?

    Thanks.

I would not worry much about a decrease in battery life. Just fire up a VMWare VM and let it run in the background when you are not using it. I always have an XP VM running, and I have not noticed much of an effect on battery life. Sometimes I have two or more VMs running w/o any issues.

I always have Windows running in a VM 24/7; why not? Of course this is desktop I'm talking about.
