With both having trial versions, can they be run at the same time? i.e. with Win7 for both?
I seriously have no idea if your VM hosts are able to run concurrently.
However, I can say that I had Problems with other VM hosts running in parallel. Why not test one, uninstall it and test the next one ?
Thanks. I'm not knowledgeable of W7,(or obviously OS X.)
It would probably be undistinguishable to me.
P.S. VMware gets very good rewiews everywhere. If you want to go opensource ( and free ) VirtualBox is working fine for me. You will see performance decrease with the guest OS in a VM. If you can't live with that ( e.g. video editing, games, CAD ... ) you can go Bootcamp ( = dual boot ).
I tried Parallels once and after two weeks it completely wrecked my machine. Wouldn't boot.
Tried Fusion and haven't looked back. That was five years ago.
Why would you do that? For which purpose exactly? I mean I don't know how OS X behaves, but on Windows I could run multiple Linux machines. So maybe just try it out?
