VMWare and Keyboard Input

Hi,

I run VMWare 25H2 with Windows 11 ARM client, and found earlier that the keyboard in the VM was lagging and stuttering. Nothing seemed to fix it except to restart the Mac.

Keyboard input in macOS seemed to be fine, and I didn't notice the system being slow.

I sleep my Mac a lot.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? I use a wired keyboard plugged into the USB 3.2 port at the front.

The latest VMware Fusion is 25H2u1/25.0.1.
Have you tried to reinstall the VMware tools inside the Windows 11 VM?
The latest available now VMware-tools-windows-arm-13.0.10-25056151.iso https://packages-prod.broadcom.com/tools/releases/latest/windows/
And check/reset accessibility permission for VMware in macOS.

To reset all VMware Fusion's permissions:

tccutil reset All com.vmware.fusion

When started, VMware Fusion should ask for Accessibility permission. Quit VMware Fusion, grant it accessibility access and start the app again.

So everything is working ok now? Because I get fast keyboard input, but the whole thing was ultra-laggy until I installed VMWare Tools.

The latest version, just released, is 26H1.
