I just recently purchased and installed VMware. It seems to work great! The only thing I noticed was when booting the Boot Camp partition through VMware, it wanted me to activate Win7 again, however it seems to work even using the same serial number.
My only concern is, if the hardware/drivers are different enough when running through VMware then when booted normally, won't that interfere with Windows 7 backup? I mean, since it is backing up settings on the regular side of things, and then making backups on the virtual side with the drivers/settings and so forth being different. Maybe they have this figured out but I thought to ask. Thank you!
