VMWare Fusion Pro 13

I've got VMWare Fusion Pro 13, and I'm having problems installing a Linux operating system. I download the AArch64 versions of several Linux distributions, but none seems to install correctly.

This is one of the screens I get, and I can't select anything on the menu. Nothing seems to work getting passed it.

Does anyone have any hints or tips about what might be happening here?
