VMware Fusion - Slow down a CPU

Just a quick question, does anyone know if there's a setting/config file where you can specify the maximum speed of a processor?

I've got an old MS-Dos program that complains the computer is too fast so won't run.

That must be a REALLY old DOS app. It might be worth running it in DOSBox so you can tune the CPU speed just for the app. Then you could still run it in a VM under Fusion or just run it natively from macOS.

It's an old Sinclair Spectrum Emulator which I wanted to check out.

DosBox appears to do the trick at the moment.
