VMware Horizon Client 2106 with macOS 12?

VMware Horizon Client 2103 did not work with macOS 12 but now they have released 2106 and I'm wondering if it's working?

The release notes for 2106 doesn’t mention Monterey, and I know someone at my company is still having issues. He’s resorting to the web/HTML version for now. I recall seeing similar issues in the past, and VMWare didn't fix them until the new macOS version was officially released, or shortly before with the release candidates.

After the release of Horizon build 2106 I was hoping someone on here would proclaim it was working on Monterey.

I am anxious to run Monterey, and horizon not working is a primary driver for me, but there is no way I am disabling SIP to run a beta OS. I'll wait a little longer.

VMware isn't known for even acknowledging the existence of pre-release OS software but trust they are working on it.

Have tried 2106 and it still don’t work without disabling SIP on Monterey.

Thanks for testing this out. I can’t upgrade to beta yet but Horizon is one of my ”must have working applications.”
I will be watching this thread for future info as we get closer to release.

As a side note I wish they would deploy Horizon through the Mac App Store like they do with remote console, but oh well..

I agree. I have turned off SIP and running horizon on macOS 12 now.
As I don’t install other things is good for me. But I’ll get back to this thread with every release I guess the next one is 2109 and it will get released September or October

Works with macOS 12 now. They did release version 2106.1 for some days ago
