Hey, so my setup is as presented in the title.

My problem is that uTorrent won't download. I tried different internet connections (NAT/Bridged) and neither worked. I hear you have to port forward the connection through vmware. I have no idea how to do that and haven't found any info on it for the Mac version.

    Please help, thanks.

You might kick me for asking; but why don't you just use the OS X uTorrent client?

Why in the world would you want to do this? Why no just use Transmission or uTorrent in OSX then transfer files?

I knew somebody would ask this... It's a very long story.
Yes I'm aware I can just use a client on Mac OS X, thanks...

But more to the point: I need help geting it to work in VMWare.

    Thanks.

    Questions:

What port does utorrent use on Windows?
Is your firewall on OSX turned on?
Is your Windows firewall turned on?
You may have to set up port forwarding on your router or triggered ports?

I'll let you go google those things . . but thats what I would check.

I would also consider using the OSX utorrent for testing, making sure it works without vmware/windows in the picture. It would help narrow the problem some.
