I have been using VMWare to access a Windows XP installation on a bootcamp partition. Now, I am happy with this Bootcamp partition that I want it in a USB External Hard Drive so i can bring it with me and continue using it and its configuration.

How does ones correctly do that - migrate a bootcamp partition to use as a VMWare Image stored on an External USB?

Hopefully, this is all the info that is needed to get anyone's opinion/advice

BOOTCAMP Partition is 40Gb MS-DOS Fat
    BOOTCAMP OS is Windows XP
    My VMWare is Version 3.0.0
I have WinClone and have saved the image of this bootcamp recently.

    Thanks.
