I'm trying to connect my windows pc to my mac through vnc viewer on windows.

I follow these steps to enable vnc sharing from the mac side:

http://www.dssw.co.uk/blog/2010/08/13/setting-up-the-vnc-server-in-mac-os-x-10-6/

But it doesnt work, vnc viewer on windows just closes the window when trying to connect... Do I need another third part application (vnc server) for the mac to connect from a windows computer? mac to mac vnc works great with these settings. :/

You can make it work without another app, but I prefer using TeamViewer, which works with Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, Ubuntu, iPhone, iPad, etc.
