Howdy Folks

I was gifted a VOB file - is large - Toast wont do anything with it but tell me cannot work file

Any idea's - since it is a file and not a disc I cant MTR it

Cheers thanks in advance

Have you tried putting it in a Video_TS folder, and see if DVD Player will open it?

If that works, then you should be able to burn the Video_TS folder using Toast as long as you use the UDF mode.

Howdy Peel;

Cheers for the reply ;

put into Video_TS file- dunno if I know how to do this ??

Can you explain?

Cheers

Just create a new folder. Name it "Video_TS", and drag the .vob file into it.
The Video_TS folder is what stand-alone dvd players (and Apple's DVD Player) look for to identify video content. There are other standard files too, like Audio_TS for music DVDs.

howdy Peel:

tried that - no go

the files already come up as VTS_01 etc...
I think the files were not extracted , as it were , so Toast wont work it till the files are extracted

thanks for the idea's

Cheers
