Hi there,

my name is Marcel and I am the developer of the VocabularyBox. This app should help you to learn new word.
This app is free, but it is limited to 250 words. To learn without limits, you can upgrade via an In-App-Purchase to the full version.

You can learn with three different methods. In the exercise you can add new words to your vocabulary, with the Vocabulary Test you can check your level of knowledge and the Card Box should support you to learn your words permanently.
The Card Box is time controlled and the gap increase progressively:

Box 1: immediately
Box 2: 4 days
Box 3: 7 days
Box 4: 16 days
Box 5: 60 days
Box 6: every 180 days

Despite extensive testing, I can not avoid all bugs. Therefore, I would really appreciate bug reports or suggestions for improvement.

Thank you and cheers :)

Marcel

For a few days the upgrade to the full version is free. With the upgrade you remove the word limit of 250 words and you can also use the "Voabulary Test" without any restrictions. If you have any suggestions for improvements or you have found a bug, I would be pleased to hear from you :)

A few days ago I released an update. The VocabularyBox is now also available for the iPad (see the screenshot below). I also fixed (hopefully) most of the initially bugs. Some minor bugs I adress with a future Update (it should be available in about a week).

I'm quite happy with the number of downloads from my homeland Germany. Especially in the last month it has increased dramatically. Unfortunately only a handfull of people from the US or Canada have downloaded the app. Do you know a reason for that? Is it so much harder to make an app popular in the US or is there no need for such a type of app? Or am I using the wrong keywords, so that the people who are maybe looking for this app can't find it?

I would appreciate any suggestion

Thanks
