Vodaphone sim card doesn't work in unlocked G3

I used my iphone when I lived in the USA using an AT&T sim card. I now live in Ireland and have a Vodaphone cell phone. My iPhone is a G3 version 4.2.1 and firmware 06.15.00 that has been unlocked using iphone Unlocker Pro and restored with my iTunes.
BUT it will not recognize my Vodaphone sim card. Any ideas?😕

I have no idea what iphone unlocker pro is. But the only software that can unlock your baseband is Ultrasn0w. This can be obtained from Cydia.
