Voice Memos Syncing

Has anyone gotten Voice Memos to sync on any of their devices?

I've upgraded to iOS 12 and OS X Mojave. I've turned on Voice Memo using iCloud and created a new recording on my Mac, one on my iPhone, and one on my iPad and I have yet to see one migrate it's way over to a second device.

Is this feature not turned on? Or is this a technical issue?

yes. make sure you have the voice memos in icloud toggle set to yes on your phone and mac.

Not working for me either and I'm set up to sync voice memos on both my phone and my Mac.

Here's what I did that fixed this.

I decided to record a voice memo on my Mac as a test to see if it syncs to my phone. I did it, opened up Voice Memos on my phone and there was the new desktop recording. Within a few seconds, the entire list of phone voice memos appeared out of nowhere in the desktop app. Looks like recording a voice memo on the desktop app triggered a sync.
