Voice Memos

Anyone find yourself using your iPhone/ipad/watch to record voice memos far more often than using a standalone digital voice recorder these days? The standalone has more features like VOR but the phone is more convenient.

I don't have a standalone but I do use the Voice Memos app and used to use Music Memos. They are both very handy for quick and dirty recording of ideas. I've also used them to record vocal harmony parts for singers.

I use my phone for voice memos all the time now. Beats the old method of carrying around those handheld recorders with those miniature cassette tapes!
