Voice message totally buggy in iOS 16 latest beta?

Anyone has a problem sending voice message via whatsapp in the latest iOS 16 beta? I can hold the button to record, then it will suddenly stop, send half the recording, delete the whole recording etc. It is basically totally useless.
Is there any work-around how to send voice messages through whatsapp? Record in another app and send them through Whatsapp? Something along those lines maybe?

I thought it was just me…. OMG this is very frustrating.
I have to kill the Messages app several times

On the same note the Speak Content is also very buggy 😮‍💨

Finally, I found someone who is having the same problem. I hold the record button and it intermittently activates / deactivates, so I cannot record new messages.

I have no screen protector, and while my case does protrude a bit over the iPhone display, I am _pretty_ sure I know how to press that damn record button.

I am however on the latest 16.1.1 and latest Whatsapp version, and it is bothering me so much.

What I have found out so far (need to do a bit more testing) is that when the keyboard is visible and thus the recording button is "in the middle of the screen" it works much better, than when the keyboard is not visible and the button is in the lower right hand corner of the screen.
